Privacy policy: Back to the 80s
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Back to the 80s ("the app") is made by zbyld. It's a game, so it has no reason to know anything about you, and it doesn't.
The short version
- We do not collect any personal information.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no crash-reporting services.
- The app doesn't ask for any Android permissions and doesn't request internet access.
What is stored on your device
The app saves a few things in its private storage on your phone so the game works the way you left it:
- Your high score for each game and mode.
- Your settings: whether sound is on and whether the controls are swapped.
This information never leaves your device. It's removed if you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Depending on your phone's backup settings, Android may include app data in your own device or Google account backup. That is a system feature under your control, not something the app sends to us.
Permissions
None. The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or internet permissions.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking libraries, and we share nothing with third parties because we have nothing to share.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no ads or links that take players out of the game.
We never sell your data
Any information stored by the app will never be sold to, or shared for the benefit of, other parties.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change (for example, if we ever add online leaderboards), we'll update this page and the date above before the change ships.
